Jodha Akbar was a very popular hindi television drama which was given the title of Historical drama of indian television series. Which was on air from 18 of June 2013 till 7 of August 2015 on Zee TV.
The show was also digitally available on online platforms like Zee5. The show got immense love from the audience as it lasts for more than a year. The show was produced by on of the popular director and producer of hindi drama Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Teleflims.
The show shows the great love and life between the Hindu princess Jodhaa Bai of Amber and the Muslim Emperor Akbar of Mughal Empire.
The lead pair of the show was Rajat Tokas and paridhi sharma. Audiance have loved the show for their acting skills, scope, soundtrack and production values.
The show was replaced by the time slot of two well known shows of that same channel Rab Se Sohna Isshq and Tashan-e-Ishq.

Production Details:
The shpw was produced by Ekta Kapoor she was inspired by the movie jodhaa Akbar directed by bollywood ‘s Ashutosh Gowariker.
Rajat Tokas had worked befor with Ekta Kapoor in her daily soap, he got selected for the lead roal of protagonist Akbar.
Ekta Kapoor took audition of almost 7000 people for the roal of female protagonist jodha across the nation and later she ended selecting paridhi Sharma.
Ashwini Kaleshkar was selected for the roal of Maham Anga who was the primary care taker of akbar and the protector.
The show got immense love from the audience of all over the country so the show was dubbed in many languages like : tamil and telugu as zee tamil and telugu, in bengali language ,malayalam language same on zee keralam , in English language .

Rajat Tokas : He is an Indian television actor. He appeared in television series like Dharam Veer , Tere Liye , Naagin ,Chandra Nandini. He got famous after playing the role of the titular character of Prithviraj Chauhan in Dharti ka Veer Yodha Prithiviraj Chauhan and also for the role of Akbar in Jodha Akbar.
Paridhi Sharma: She is an Indian Television Actress best for playing Jodha bai in Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar and goddess Vaishno Devi in Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi – Kahani Mata Rani Ki. Her acting journey started from the star plus show Tere Mere Sapne. She was born in Indore and then got married to a businessman from ahmedabad named Tanmai Saksena.
Mita Vashista: An Indian television actress. She has done some amazing work which was praised by the audience a lot .apart from Television she has also done theater and Stage shows. Her well recognize roal is from sci-fic television series Space City Sigma, Swabhimaan, Alaan to Trishna in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki.
Gopal Singh: He is a famous television actor and also seen in movies and done some fine piece of art in theater. He is majorly known for his power pack performance and unconventional roles in hindi movies. Some memorable work of him includes Company, Calcutta Mail, Ek Haseena Thi, Traffic Signals , Page 3, Mumbai Mirrors and Buddha in a Traffic Jam. Why did the Show got Off Air?
After catching eye of audience for a long time. The fans got heartbreaking news that the show is going off air soon. The historical show will go off air and will be replaced by Dharasti Dhami’s new show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani on Zee TV.
The show , starring Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma, got a ending due to drastic fall in it’s TRP rating. The team of the show completed the shoot nearly 15th July ,2015.
The channel must have decided to end the show but the audience were not happy with the decision as they wanted to watch the more of it.
The historical show’s fans were so upset with the decision and going crazy on twitter and were on a mission to save Jodha Akbar. But as the decision was so finalized by the channel and the producers that even the demand of audience got unheard.
