Tyra Banks Quits Talk Show ‘FABLife’!
Tyra Banks‘ post-modeling career has been filled with several business moves which made her an all-around media mogul.
Of course, there’s the soon-to-be-ending reality competition show “America’s Next Top Model, her Emmy-winning daytime talk show”The Tyra Banks Show,” which lasted for five seasons and most recently her return to daytime TV as co-host of “FABLife.”
Today, Banks announced she’s leaving the show to focus on her beauty line, TYRA Beauty.
Banks’ statement to The Hollywood Reporter reads, “I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company’s other entertainment ventures. I will, however, continue to support the growth and success of FABLife and greatly admire my fellow co-hosts and the talented production team behind the show.”
Remaining “FABLife” cohosts are Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and YouTube star Leah Ashley.
With Banks leaving, of course there are rumors about her sudden exit. TMZ says it was due to her clashing with one of the show’s executive producers and also not having her cosmetics line promoted as much as she’d like.
“FABLife” boasts modest ratings and it remains to be seen how Banks’ exit will affect the show.
