That One Time Marilyn Mosby Sued a Man on ‘Judge Judy’

Before Marilyn Mosby was the badass State District Attorney of Baltimore City and before she assumed the national stage defending the family of Freddie Gray, a 25 year-old Baltimore man murdered in police custody, she was Marilyn James, a 20 year-old at Tuskegee University who appeared on “Judge Judy” and sued the socks off a business owner who occupied the top of her Alabama apartment for breaking in during her summer break.

Mosby exudes the same eloquence, poise and fierceness she did when she put the world on notice that “No one is above the law, not even the police.”
