Before Marilyn Mosby was the badass State District Attorney of Baltimore City and before she assumed the national stage defending the family of Freddie Gray, a 25 year-old Baltimore man murdered in police custody, she was Marilyn James, a 20 year-old at Tuskegee University who appeared on “Judge Judy” and sued the socks off a business owner who occupied the top of her Alabama apartment for breaking in during her summer break.
