Shonda Rhimes is Weight-Loss Goals!
Shonda Rhimes is just like you and me!
Ok well, maybe you haven’t created amazing award-winning prime time shows with Black lead characters, but you and Shonda still have something in common!
In an interview with Extra, Rhimes admitted that she hates dieting! Come through, normal people problems!
The 45-year-old writer and super producer recently dropped 117 pounds and she looks absolutely amazing!
With some changes to her eating habits and an increase in regular exercise, Rhimes made a commitment that paid off big time!
When asked what changed she says, “I just decided I was going to get it together and get healthy. I have some little kids, and I want to be around them.”
It’s touching to see Rhimes so motivated by her kids, but it doesn’t change the fact adjusting her eating habits wasn’t always a twirl in the park.
Now she craves protein and veggies instead of sugar and carbs. While she’s grateful for the change she’s still said, “It’s upsetting. I’m like, where’s my cake?”
How can you not love Shonda for being so real!
