“Freud suggests our experience with pleasure is not only uniquely personal but it essentially informs our sense of self.”

There’s the latest promotional tactic and then there’s the brand who takes the extra step to challenge everything you thought you knew.

This is precisely why we’re feeling MysteryVibe, a new sex toy company for the sex-positive woman, who not only wants us to buy their product, their mission is to turn women on to something new.

The English company, who made their debut at TechCruch’s Disrupt in New York this week, is quite confident their new vibrator, the Crescendo is the “Apple of Pleasure.” Fast Company is a fan and says the toy achieved the ultimate challenge in sensory design and branding. They’re calling it, “the next-generation adult pleasure aid conceived to bring both innovation and excitement to the sex toy market.”

The toy can be shaped anyway you like and comes with six customizable and discreet-sounding motors. And it’s all in your control via your smartphone. It even charges wirelessly. Imagine that?

A rep for the brand says, “There was a big gap in the market for more subtle, playful, non-phallus-shaped toys for women.” He adds: We invested heavily in research then conceived a considered brand positioning before creating our fast actual product.”

Basically the Crescendo sounds like the Birkin bag of vibrators.

Ready for your journey to sensory pleasure? We sure are! Seems we’ll all have to wait until the Crescendo officially hits stores. For now, MysteryVibe is crowing-funding and testing exclusively via Born.
