Is Oral Sex on Your Period as Taboo as You Think?

It’s that time of the month again. Cramps, mood swings, cravings, bleeding, and…chronic horniness?

A woman’s sex drive during her period can either spike or drop depending on your estrogen levels.  When it drops, the fix is easy: lay in bed, eat chocolate, and relish in the warmth of a hot water bottle. But what about a spike in sex drive?

For the most part the idea of sex while on your period is a non-option. You feel gross, you’re bleeding, you’re potentially in pain, and as horny as you may be, you just can’t fathom the idea of laying down and getting dirty; even though, according to a Men’s Health poll nearly 60 percent of men are down to get down while Aunt Flo is in town!

But what about laying down for some oral?

Most men are a fan of heavy blow jobs when their girl is on her period, so that he can get his with no bloody mess involved. But what’s in it for the ladies?

A Women’s Health article asked the question to some women and men. Surprisingly half of the men were down for the idea of oral. It seems like as long as men are only playing around with the clit they don’t really mind giving you some oral pleasure.

Even though the men seemed down, it was the ladies who gave some push back.

The general consensus for women was oral is not a consideration when you’re on your period, no matter how horny you are.

There seems to be something about a guy coming up from between your legs looking like he threw a Bloody Mary on his face that really freaks us out.

Should we be freaked out by the idea of our guys getting a little of our blood on their face?
