Forever 21 Gets a Black Lives Matter Makeover

A video shows a group of activists sneaking into a Forever 21 store in New York’s Union Square to give the store windows a dramatic makeover. By the time the group left, all store mannequins’ attire changed to t-shirts reading “Black Lives Matter.”

The multiracial group Never 21 called on the retail chain to support Black lives that “were never given the change to see age 21.”

Thanks for believing.

The activists released a statement explaining the action was not an attack against Forever 21. However the group plans to continue targeting the chain’s 600 stores worldwide.

“Whether they choose to support our message or be against it, this will not stop us from making sure that these voices continue to be heard.”
