Donald Trump Shows Ignorance Tweeting Racist and False Crime Statistic
Donald Trump is still out here taking his presidential campaign seriously, regardless of how many people he offends. This weekend he really upped the ante by having a Black Lives Matter protester assaulted at his campaign rally in Alabama on Saturday.
On Sunday, he tweeted out an insensitive, inaccurate and just downright racist graph which shows misleading “facts” about black on black crime. You would think a presidential hopeful would have people on his staff who would fact-check so these types of things wouldn’t happen.

The chart is from The Crime Statistics Bureau-San Francisco, but the New York Daily News reports the city’s annual police reports end in 2014.
The 2014 reports of FBI hate crime statistics are not available, but the 2013 report is. The FBI reports 66.4 percent of hate crimes were motivated by anti-Black or African American bias and only 21.4 percent resulted from anti-White bias.
We know systemic racism is a huge problem in this country and many factors contribute to “Black on Black crime.”
