Discussion: Would You Sign a Love Contract?

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has never been married and at 45, the hip hop mogul still says he’s not ready.

The producer/rapper has been in and out of relationships over the years from long-time stylist Misa Hylton, Kim Porter, Jennifer Lopez and most recently his longtime girlfriend, model/singer Cassie. Diddy is also the father of five children.

The Ciroc king hit the clubhouse with Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens live Sunday night. When Andy asked the notorious bachelor if he’d ever take the plunge, Diddy basically said nah. The mogul says he’d like to have the kind of relationship legendary actress Goldie Hawn has with decades-long partner Kurt Russell.

“I think you have to be ready for it. It’s somebody else’s heart involved and that’s just a lot of responsibility,” Diddy said. “I don’t wanna be going to courts and having somebody like, interfere with my relationship. So I’d rather do a Goldie Hawn.” Umm sounds like Diddy wants to avoid the “cheaper to keep her” scenario.

Just before he shied away from any further questions about love and marriage, because Diddy is shy, he suggested a love contract.

“I will commit to a contract, a love contract,” Diddy says. When Andy gave him a very necessary confused stare, Diddy explained the contract would come in handy in the place of spousal support.

“I’m talking about when it’s some money involved—if there’s any problems,” he said. “You have to have an agreement. You can’t just love somebody.”

So ladies, question: If you were in a long-term relationship with a man with a very serious case of marriage-phobia, would you agree to a love contract? Sound off!
