1. Universal Hip-Hop Parade for Social Justice

The 15th annual Universal Hip-Hop Parade for Social Justice celebrates hip-hop culture and pays tribute to Marcus Garvey. Expect to enjoy graffiti artists, break dancers and freebies from local businesses!


2. Tap + Cork: Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest

Tickets $20 in advance online/$30 at the door

For $20, you can sample drinks at the third annual Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest featuring more than 45 varieties of craft beers and artisanal wines. What’s even better, is the music theme is “Bad Boy vs. Roc-A-Fella,” so you know this will have hip-hop heads on their feet!


3. Brooklyn Flea-Fort Greene

4. Free Outdoor Performance of “Much Ado About Nothing”

Performance starts at 6:30pm

Fifth Avenue and Dean Street, Park Slope

This comedy will be performed by South Brooklyn Shakespeare on the streets of Park Slope as part of the Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID’s North Slope Summer Stroll. Along with curbside Shakespeare, there will also be a bounce house, juggling, street chess and vintage cars.


5. Food Truck Rally

If you’re a foodie, be sure to bring your appetite to this event! Brooklyn’s finest food trucks will be competing for your coins. Expect to see Taim Mobile, Coolhaus, Gorilla Cheese NYC, Red Hook Lobster Express and many more! Yummers!
