Blac Chyna Slays ‘Elle and ‘Paper’ Magazines, Basically Says Eff Your Double Standards!
Blac Chyna has become one of the most talked about and mysterious celebrities of 2016. A few weeks before her E! reality show with fiance, Rob Kardashian, is set to air on September 11, Chyna covers the latest issue of Paper magazine and has a feature on ELLE.com.
She tells Paper about her friendship with Amber Rose, who also has her own history with the Kardashian family, and speaks on those infamous coordinated outfits the two of them wore at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards which featured the slurs and insults people call them on social media.
“Stripper, slut, ho, all these things people portray us as — we wanted to start a movement, because we’re tired of this double standard where a guy can fuck ten bitches and he’s the man,” said Chyna.
“A woman does it and she’s a ho, she’s a slut. We wanted to push the barrier,to own it.” She continues, “You can say mean things about me, but it doesn’t matter, we’re still gonna do us … So what if I was a stripper?”
Rose and Chyna are both former strippers who used to date rappers and have now made a name for themselves.
For ELLE.com, Chyna opens up a little more about her relationship with Rob and the fallout heard around the world between she and the Kardashian crew.
She doesn’t appear to have hard feelings about it, saying, “When you don’t want to be in a relationship with somebody anymore, you don’t give a fuck what they’re doing. I was just like, Thank God I’m out of that situation. And honestly, it was the best thing that I could’ve done, because my life has changed so much for the better.”
Chyna spoke on how she motivates Rob to eat better and be healthier, saying, “When I linked up with Rob, he was at a point where nobody could really help him. But I’m the type of person that likes to motivate my friends and help them figure out how they can do better. That’s how we really started off. When I’m around Rob, I’m never all up in his business, asking questions. I let him be himself and relax. I’m not a therapist. If he opens up, and I say the wrong thing, he may shut me out. Sometimes it’s just best to let people talk about it and get it off their chest. That’s how I’ve been carrying the situation with me and Rob, and so far it’s worked out.”
The idea for the couple to have a reality show was Rob’s idea, said Chyna.
“Doing a show allows us to get our side of the story out to the world,” she said. “Most of the time when you’re around the opposite sex, you kinda have to put on a show and not completely be yourself. Around Rob, I’m always able to speak my mind and speak freely and not care. I can do the craziest stuff or say the craziest stuff, and he doesn’t judge me. Like if my stomach hurts, I don’t have to pretend. I can go straight to the bathroom. It’s those little things that really make a big difference.”
One of the big takeaways from the interview was Chyna and Rob will not be naming their upcoming baby anything that starts with a “K.” Fans can also expect to find out the sex of the baby on the premiere of “Rob and Chyna” on September 11.
