This Apple Music Executive is Peak Black Girl Magic!

Everyone is buzzing about Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which they hosted on Monday. Bomb new Apple iOS features are coming to an iPhone near you but that’s not the only thing that’s got people excited.

The idea of being able to translate your text into emojis is awesome but it doesn’t quite compare to the excitement people felt watching Apple Music’s head of global marketing Bozoma Saint John.

Saint John took the stage to present Apple Music’s new features and interface and instantly won everyone’s hearts.

First of all, simply seeing a Black woman on stage as a leading executive for a major company like Apple is kind of a big fu**ing deal but to see one who hops on stage and just effortlessly blows everyone away? Now that’s Black Girl magic at it’s absolute finest.

Not only did she charm the crowd, Saint John did it all while being her authentically, very Black self. From rocking her natural hair right down to using Ghanaian music and hip hop to explain Apple Musics new features.

Aside from being devastatingly charming and bubbling with Black Girl Magic, Saint John is a marketing powerhouse in her own right.

Before being named the head of global marketing for Apple Music (formerly Beats Music) in 2014, she was pushing through the industry as a key player in Pepsi-Cola’s marketing team, helping to land sponsorship like The Grammy’s, Beyonce and the Super Bowl!

Not to mention she was named one of Billboard’s Top Women in Music in 2013.

Saint John is clearly an absolute force in the industry and a pillar in Black Girl Magic and we cannot wait to see even more of her!
