On To The Next: Kim Fields is Done With ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’

If you watched season 8 of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” then you already know that newcomer Kim Fields fit in with the cast about as well as a vegan at a rib joint.

So it’s really no surprise that Kim will be a one season wonder.  During a chat with the hosts of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show on Tuesday morning, Fields announced that she would not be returning for a second season.

Kim was a cute addition to the show, but she was no match for the library of reads that the entire cast unleashed on her throughout the season. Especially when Kenya Moore went from being Kim’s wide eyed admirer to chief librarian.

The tension between Kim and Kenya was probably the most interesting thing that she added to the show.

Aside from her beef with Kenya, Kim could often be found having emotional breakdowns when separated from her kids and husband for more than a day.

Not to mention, whether she owns up to it or not Kim did walk through the door a little too high and mighty and was always quick to say she didn’t care about whether the women liked her or not.

Well Kim… why did you want to be on the show then?

“It was for the experience,” she told the radio show. “It was to be able to do a genre that I’d been asked to do before and finding a way to do it that made sense for my team and and for the family. Overall it was a really great experience.”

The show was good for Kim since it gave her some exposure past being Tootie and Regine  and some much needed reading lessons. Part 1 of the RHOA reunion showed a side of Kim none of us were expecting and we can’t wait to see the rest.

But it looks like that’s all the drama we’ll be getting from Ms. Fields. Kim made her “Dancing With The Stars” debut on Monday night and she burnt up the dance floor, so it seems like she might have found a reality show that’s just up her alley.

Maybe Bravo will give Amiyah Scott another shot
