‘Hamilton’ Heads To The White House!

If you thought getting tickets for the Broadway hit Hamilton was hard after their Grammy performance, just wait until they hit the White House!

The cast of the Grammy award winning hip-hopera has been invited to the White House and will be hosted by the very flawless FLOTUS herself!

The visit is all apart of testing for what creator and Hamilton star, Lin-Manuel Miranda called their “robust educational initiatives.” Michelle Obama will deliver the opening remarks on March 16th and then the cast will do a Q&A before afternoon performances of selections from the show.

Miranda made the announcement in a YouTube video posted Wednesday.

Hamilton has quickly soared to fame and is currently the most coveted ticket in town. But New York city students are in luck.

According to Variety the play has partnered with the Rockefeller Foundation and the Gilder Lehrman Institue on a $1.46 million initiative that offers Wednesday matinee tickets to NYC students for just $10.

The rest of us will have to throw our names into the lottery and hope for a ticket!
