Iggy Azalea Isn’t Too Happy With Macklemore Calling Her Out on Cultural Appropriation
In case you didn’t know, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis released a new song last night titled, “White Privilege II.”
The song features Macklemore calling out himself as well as other White artists on cultural appropriation in music. He name drops his peers such as Iggy Azalea, Elvis Presley and Miley Cyrus.
The lyric goes: “You’ve exploited and stolen the music, the moment/The magic, the passion, the fashion you toy with/The culture was never yours to make better/You’re Miley, you’re Elvis, you’re Iggy Azalea.”

When a fan on Twitter asked Azalea how she felt about Macklemore’s lyric, she said, “He shouldn’t have spent the last 3 yrs having friendly convos and taking pictures together at events etc if those were his feelings.”

It’s no secret Azalea constantly gets defensive when it comes to calling her out about her music. But we doubt if she’s even listened to the song.
