The Problem With the ‘Most Beautiful Vagina’ Contest

Some time back in June, sex toy company, Auto-Blow, announced a competition to find what they defined as the world’s most beautiful vagina.

So women from all around the world, equipped with Internet access, decided to submit photos of their vaginas so the whole of the web could rank their level of attractiveness.

The idea behind the competition was for the company to turn the three highest ranked vaginas into molds that would then be turned into some pretty realistic sex toys for men’s pleasure.

Auto Blow creator, Brian Sloan, recently jetted off to Europe to meet and scan the vaginas of the three contest winners who happened to all be White European women, go figure!

A big question Sloan seems to run into a lot is whether or not he felt his contest was sexist and his answer is actually relatively simple.

“They didn’t call it sexist when dildos were made from men’s penises.”

Fair enough. If all the women willingly took part there doesn’t seem to be much harm. Except it doesn’t seem like that was the case.

All of the prize winners were promised thousands of dollars in cash prizes and when Sloan got to Europe, he took the women to lunch, took them back to a hotel room to digitally photograph their vaginas and then paid them in cash.

The ladies who took silver and bronze in this interesting contest explained to Elite Daily why they decided to enter. The second place winner was pretty confident about the beauty of what’s between her thighs.

“I thought it was really funny and interesting and so I decided to give it a try, because I thought that maybe I could do better than these girls,” she said. “I have a right to do what I decide with my body and that is what feminism is about.”

It’s the third place winner that raises some concern.  “My boyfriend made me do it.” she told Elite Daily. “He told me about it and then I didn’t want to do it. And then we had a few drinks and then we did it … I was very uncomfortable. It was like being at the doctors.”

Apparently her boyfriend even sat and watched while Sloan did the 3D scanning. Talk about red flag!

It seems like the women got their prizes and Sloan got his scans and now the world will wait while Sloan and his team create sex toys out of “the world’s most beautiful vaginas” or more appropriately known as the vaginas of three average European women.
