One of the most remembered couples hip-hop history is rapper 50 Cent and actress Vivica A. Fox. The two are forever connected and are asked about each other in interviews so much, you would think they were married and didn’t just date for a few months!

Let’s also remember by the time a lot of us found out they were dating, the relationship was already over.

Sunday night, during an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Fox was clearly feeling herself. Because she’ll be making an appearance on “Empire” this season as Cookie’s older sister, host Andy Cohen asked her, “What were your thoughts on 50 Cent blaming the second season ratings dip on “gay stuff”?

Fox proceeded to spill tea so hot, it could scold your mouth!

“First of all,” she said, “that’s the pot calling the kettle black.”

“The pot calling the kettle black?” questioned Cohen.

Even guest Kandi Burruss was taken aback by all the shade in the room.

“You’re not insinuating 50 Cent is gay?” asked Cohen.

Fox then flips her hair.

Cohen presses Fox again because by now she’s opened up a can of worms.

“Well,” she says, ”It seems like he’s got something that’s not quite clear. I’ll just never forget there was Vibe cover with him and Soulja Boy that made me kinda go, ‘Hmmm.’

“Were you with him at the time the cover came out?” asked Cohen.

“Absolutely not,” replied Fox. “He looked like a booty snatcher on that one to me,” said Fox.

Forget shaking the table, Fox flipped it over!

Seconds later, the magazine cover of 50 Cent and Soulja Boy appeared all over Twitter, and it turns out it was XXL and not Vibe.

If we haven’t learned anything this past year, we learned 50 Cent is one of pettiest men walking this earth. This past weekend, he and rap nemesis Rick Ross were going back and forth on Instagram and early this summer, all of a sudden 50 was “bankrupt” because he didn’t want to pay the $7 million to Rick Ross’ ex after he leaked her sex tape.

All of this is why Black Twitter was waiting with bated breath Sunday night for 50 to clap back at Fox, because we just knew it was going to be epic proportions!

But before all this shade was being thrown around between the two, let’s take a trip down memory lane and remember how 50 and Fox came to be!

The two began dating in 2003 and their biggest and most public appearance as a couple was at the MTV “Video Music Awards” the same year.

After a bitter breakup, where personal insults were thrown, it was obvious the two would never have anything nice to say about each other again.

But in 2009, it looked as though time healed all wounds, because Fox appeared in 50’s video, as a crazy ex, for his hit song, “Do You Think About Me.” The video was inspired by the Martin Lawrence and Lynn Whitfield flick A Thin Line Between Love and Hate.

Even February of this year, during Fox’s appearance on “The Meredith Vieira Show,” she refers to 50 as “absolutely the love of my life” but says dating him was “difficult.”

“I really, really cared for him and I loved him very, very, very much and I always will, but he just wasn’t right for me. That’s hard when you really, really love a person, in your heart, you want to be with them, but you finally have to say, ‘He’s just not right for me.’”

“I wish him the best, he is amazing and baby, he’s fine, but…sometimes, love ain’t always right. The heart wants what it wants, but sometimes it’s just not right.”

Seeing as how the two seemed to have buried the hatchet over the past few years, it came as a surprise to many when Fox insinuated 50 was gay.

And yes, 50 responded the way we expected him to, on Instagram.

It’s safe to say Fox won’t be making any guest appearances on “Power” any time soon. The actress posted an apology for dragging Souljah Boy in her off and on spat with 50. She tweeted, “Let me say this!! Wasn’t speaking about @souljaboy only my EX and his antics! I apologize for that to @souljaboy.” But no apology to 50.

Fox also defended herself against a now viral tweet by 50 from 2010 that seemed to substantiate for all of social media the actress indeed licked rapper’s butt.
