Louis Vuitton Launches Its First Perfume Collection!
Louis Vuitton is getting into the fragrance business. The fragrances, which will be for women and will become available in September, took four years to create and were at the helm of creative atelier Les Fontains Parfumées in Grasse with Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, who served as in-house perfumer.
Seven perfumes are included in the collection and they are called Rose des Vents, Matière Noire, Mille Feux, Apogée, Turbulences, Dans la Peau and Contre Moi. Their scents are described as feminine and floral.
The perfume bottles are made of heavy glass to resemble minimalist versions of apothecary vials and feature the LV insignia. They are priced at $240 a bottle.
