It’s been a big year for Beyonce. She performed at the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars, sent the music world into a frenzy with the release of her visual album, LEMONADE, and she embarked on her Formation World Tour.

In between touring, Beyonce was able to perform at the BET Awards and give a stirring performance of “Freedom” with Kendrick Lamar.

Now that the bulk of her tour has wrapped, aside from a few spot dates this fall, rumor has it King Bey will be performing and attending next week’s MTV Video Music Awards which will take place in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

The last time Beyonce graced the VMA stage was in 2014, which was a 17-minute performance where she went through every song on her fifth self-titled album.

According to tweets from a Beyonce fan page, @TheBeyHiveTeam, a LEMONADE tribute could be in the works.

We’ll see if this all comes to fruition when the MTV Video Music Awards air live Sunday, August 28 at 9pm EST/8pm CST.
