New Food Network Shows Will Feature Ayesha Curry and the Smollett Siblings!

If you aren’t a regular viewer of the Food Network, that may change with the announcement of the network’s new shows.

First up, is a show featuring Ayesha Curry, wife of NBA star, Stephen Curry. Currently titled, “Ayesha’s Homemade,” it will be a six-episode series that will feature cooking segments along with peeks into her life as the wife of a professional athlete and the mother of two young daughters. It is scheduled for a fall debut.

Next, we’ll be getting to know the Smollett clan a little more. We’re already familiar with siblings Jurnee and Jussie Smollett, but on “Smollett Eats,” we’ll get to know Jake Smollett, who is known as the head chef in the family, along with brothers Jocqui and Jojo and their sister Jazz. Six half-hour episodes have been ordered and it will showcase the favorite foods and recipes of the six siblings. The show is set to premiere in August.

“It’s an exciting time for Food Network as demand for food-centric content seems to be at an all-time high,” said Didi O’Hearn, senior VP of programming for Food Network and Cooking Channel.

It’s always good to see more diversity being added on television and these new shows will surely bring in the ratings and audiences.
