The First Trailer for ‘All Eyez on Me’ Dropped on Tupac’s Birthday

Today, June 16th, 2016 marks what would have been Tupac Shakur’s 45th birthday. It seems that in honor of this, the first official trailer for the biopic following the rappers life has been released.

All Eyez on Me titled, after Tupac’s famed forth studio album, chronicles the story of the rappers life, starring Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Shakur.

The first look at biopic, filmed in Atlanta, is an intense one as the trailer opens to the visuals of everything from an FBI bust to a massive crowd watching Pac perform.

A voice over of Danai Gurira as Tupac’s late mother, Afeni Shakur, echos a familiar and sad message.

“Like all black men, you have a bullseye on your back. They are going to give you the tools you need to destroy yourself.”

The trailer ends with Shipp as Tupac saying, “If they kill me, I want the people to know the real story.”

The minute long teaser trailer leaves you absolutely wanting to see more.
