Rihanna Documentary On the Way

Documentaries focused on the lives of celebrities are nothing new, but a documentary about Rihanna is something many are intrigued by.

Rihanna is known for having a pretty open relationship with her fans, and the documentary, which will be directed by Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights), is said to give an “unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon.” It should also be noted Berg directed Rihanna in her 2012 film debut, Battleship.

Deadline reports the documentary will be shot in the similar style of the 1967 Bob Dylan doc, Don’t Look Back. It will also show Ri and Dylan’s shared characteristics such as their love of weed and DGAF attitude.

There’s no word on the doc’s release date or its title.
