Watch Black Women’s Reactions to the Words “Skin Tone”

When someone says “skin tone” what comes to mind? Is it prejudice, different treatment, pain, or maybe indifference?

But for others the word reminds them of the messy history that the shades of their skin carry.

The video is an enlightening reminder that most times colorism runs deepest in our own community.

Check out the video and hear what these women had to say.

What does the word skin tone make you think? Sound off!
