Well beauty blogger and Black girl boss, Ofunne Amaka knows that struggle all too well and decided to start an Instagram account that showcased how makeup looked on various skin tones.

“After a number of disappointing purchases, where I ultimately guessed completely wrong about how a product would look on me, I thought to myself,I wish there was a resource that allowed me to see swatches of the latest makeup products on darker complexions,” Ofunne told Blackgirllonghair.

After some hard work that Instagram account has grown into an app.

The app is a huge catalog of  petty much any makeup under the sun swatched on different skin tones.
