Study Finds Women Are Giving More Oral Sex Than They Are Receiving

One of the great debates surrounding sex (besides some women not hitting the big “O”) is how there isn’t always reciprocation when it comes to oral sex.

A new study shows women are giving oral sex more than they are receiving. The survey by the Trojan Sexual Health Division of Church & Dwight Canada found with Canadian college students, more men than women reported receiving oral sex in their most recent “sexual encounter.”

This was published in the Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality, and 63 percent of men said they received oral sex on their last hookup, while 44 percent of women said they received oral.

Everyone agreed receiving oral was “pleasurable” and 52 percent of the men who were surveyed said giving oral was “very pleasurable.”

What could explain women giving more than receiving is the women surveyed said giving and receiving oral sex was better when in a serious relationship, meaning living together, engaged or married. This makes sense for oral sex not really taking place when you’re dealing with casual hookups or situationships.
