Big Sean and Jhene Aiko Coupled Up Now!

Collaborative projects are the new wave in music. First, there was rappers Drake and Future coming together for last year’s What A Time To Be Alive, and  a few weeks ago, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne released the Apple Music exclusive, Collegrove.

After some speculation, last night rapper, Big Sean, and singer, Jhene Aiko, announced they formed a duo called TWENTY88. They also teased Friday, April 1, as the day they would be dropping music, either a single or an entire album.

Sean and Aiko’s recent collaborations include “Beware” from Sean’s album, Hall of Fame, and “I Know” from Dark Sky Paradise.

The name TWENTY88 derives from their birthdays as both were born in 1988 and recently turned 28-years-old.

On their social media accounts, they also released two teaser videos. One shows them sitting in the back of a chauffeured car, wearing furs and Aiko wearing an orange wig which is what she’s seen rocking  on the duo’s cover art.
