T.I. Signs to Roc Nation and is Part Owner In TIDAL

After his announcement that he was leaving Columbia Records in 2015, T.I. was a free agent looking for somewhere to sign. So now in 2016 he’s inked a distribution deal with his buddy Jay-Z over at Roc Nation for his next album Dime Trap.

That’s not all though, T.I. pulled double duty and also signed a deal with TIDAL, that will make him the 19th artist-owner to be involved with Jay Z’s music streaming service.

TIDAL’s subscriptions have nearly doubled since Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo debuted according to reports.

What started as a bit of a struggle project that the fans didn’t seem to have much faith in has shifted objective to exclusive content from big name artists and it seems to really be the key to success.

T.I. already has content exclusively on TIDAL including the first single from the LP “Money Talk.”  Dime Trap will make his.
