The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is one of the most exciting fashion event during the holiday season! This year’s show goes down Tuesday November 10 and will air on CBS Tuesday December 8!
Expect to the shots from the show all over your social media feeds, and expect to see a lot of new faces this year, as well as veterans who have already received their angel wings!
Out of the 45 models who will be walking the runway, only 8 are Black. There would have been 9, but Jourdan Dunn is not part of the show this year.

Jasmine Tookes
Age: 24.
Hometown: Huntington Beach, Calif.
Tookes made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2012, and as one of the eleven new models gracing the catwalk. French Vogue named her one of its 10 new faces from the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Fashion Week. She became a Victoria Secret Angel in 2015.

2. Lais Ribeiro
Age: 25.
Hometown: Teresina, Piaui, Brazil.
After giving birth to her son, Ribeiro made her model debut in 2009 walking the international catwalks for Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Marc Jacobs. She became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015.

Cindy Bruna
Age: 21.
Hometown: Saint-Raphael, France.
In 2012, Bruna became the first model of color to walk exclusively for Calvin Klein. She walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2013. In 2014, she was the third model of color to be the face of a Prada campaign, following Naomi Campbell and Malaika Firth.
4. Gracie Carvalho
Age: 25.
Hometown: Brazil.
Carvalho made her debut in 2008 appearing in Rio and Sao Paulo fashion week. She currently models for Express.

Joan Smalls
Age: 27.
Hometown: Hatillo, Puerto Rico.
Smalls has modeled haute couture and ready-to-wear collections for designers such as Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, Burberry, Lanvin, Missoni, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga and several others. Prior to this year’s upcoming show, she has appeared in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

6. Maria Borges
Age: 23.
Hometown: Luanda Angola.
Borges signed with Supreme Agency in 2012, and one month later, she walked 17 runways. During her second season, she was a Givenchy exclusive. She has walked the runways for Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Banana Republic, Carolina Herrera, Diane Von Furstenberg, Elie Saab, Emanuel Angaro and many others.

Leila Nda
Age: 24.
Hometown: Burundi (South East Africa)
Nda grew up in East Africa, but moved to Belgium at the age of 10 to escape the civil war. She started modeling in 2013, has since walked in shows for Oscar de la Renta, Hermes, Tommy Hilfiger, Chloe, and Gucci among others.
8. Leomie Anderson
Age: 21.
Hometown: London, England.
Anderson starred on the reality show “The Model Agency” and currently runs a blog, Cracked China Cup, chronicling her favorite things and life as a model. She is known for speaking out on the hair struggles Black models face.
