“The Real” Renewed for Two More Seasons!

Prepare to see Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai all on your daytime television screens until at least 2018!

The hit syndicated daytime talk show “The Real” has been renewed by Fox Television Stations! In just it’s second season on the air “The Real” has shown an impressive ratings growth, rising 14 percent with women 25-54 and averaging a 0.9 rating in the demo.

After Wendy Williams serves up the morning gossip, “The Real” comes in on the back end and retains 100 percent of the audience.

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution president Ken Werner is clearly happy with the shows performance stating, “The Real in its second season has expanded on its promise of connecting with the diverse daytime television viewers and is delivering substantial ratings growth in the process.”

The show is performing well in it’s field and is keeping up with longstanding top contenders like “The View”.

“The Real has been an important piece in building our growing daytime lineup. In fact, in our universe, it often beats or ties The View. That alone is worth two more years in my book,” said Fox Television Stations SVP of programming Frank Cicha.

Other new daytime talk shows like “FABLife” and Anderson Cooper’s talk show have not seen the success that “The Real” has, proving that these five dynamic women really have something good going on!
