Marijuana Resorts Are a New Thing!

Blackjack, slot machines, and lots of liquor flowing; what could possibly make a casino resort stay better? How about rolling up a nice fat one?

Well thanks to the Santee Sioux tribe in South Dakota, you might just be able to get high throughout your entire resort stay!

The Native American tribe is making plans to open a marijuana friendly hotel and casino complete with a buffalo ranch, bar, arcade, nightclub, and a weed store all on their reservation.

The tribe is already in the process of building their first weed growing facility, which will house 30 different strains of marijuana. Their hope is to generate around $2 million a month in sales to go towards the building of the resort.

The recreational use of marijuana is legal in Colorado, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, and D.C., however public use is still illegal. People have developed everything from marijuana camps to “bud and breakfasts”, catering to the marijuana friendly crowd but nothing like this has been done before.

Tribal president, Anthony Reider, told Mashable, “We want it to be an adult playground, there’s nowhere else in America that has something like this.”

The multi-use marijuana resort would be the first of it’s kind in the United States and is sure to draw in massive crowds.

Can you imagine how empty the buffet and snack bar would be? Never ending munchies!

The tribe plans to launch their new venture on December 31st, just in time to ring in the new year higher than the ball in Times Square!

Would you book a stay at a marijuana resort?
